have to admit i'd never even heard of this movie before. but felt sorry for vice coz he was getting no love for this suggestion. i checked out the clip - that picture does not look like rowdy roddy peeper and keith david! piper's making movies? and how come keith david looks so fat? i'm gonna have to check this movie out - looks fun. and it's early john carpenter (before he turned into a talentless douchebag).

I've heard of it but never seen it all the way through. Tends to be shown on TV very late at night over here in the UK. I've always found Carpenter very hit and miss. Loved Haloween, The Thing and Assault on Precinct 13 had their moments and Escape from NY was OK, but appart from them I'm not a huge fan (infact I accidentaly watched The Fog on TV last night, not good).

the cripple fight in south park was the best thing that ever happened in TV history.
i shall have to watch it. i also find john carpenter hit and miss. but more miss with his recent stuff. i am quite a fan of most of his early stuff, especially escape from new york.
