Ok so some of these started in the 70s. but most picked up serious momentum in the 80s. I couldn't think of any more but let me know if there are.
just realised that back to the future IS sci-fi and should have gone in the other 80s sci-fi poll. stupid stupid stupid. any way to modify polls vice, me old mucker?

SHIT SHIT SHIT!!!! I watched the damn movie yesterday and that's what bloody inspired me to do the poll in the first place! What a freaking idiot. That was supposed tp be top of the list. Maybe we can get Vice to delete the poll and put it up again with Beverly Hills Cop in there.

rocky for me too. still gets me pumped when i watch it now (any of them). very close second is rambo even if the 3rd wasn't that great - the 1st is one of my face movies of all time.
